Our Charities

The Atlantic Ambition team are keen sportsmen which has instilled a competitive instinct so they are naturally aiming to win the race in a world record time. Surfrider is a community of everyday people who passionately protect our playground – the ocean, waves, and beaches that provide us so much enjoyment. We ensure clean water, healthy ocean and coastlines and accessible beaches for all to enjoy by finding lasting solutions to the threats our ocean faces. Surfrider Foundation is a registered not for profit sea-roots organisation dedicated to the protection of our waves and beaches through Conservation, Activism, Research and Education or C.A.R.E.

Our Purpose is to protect oceans, waves and beaches through C.A.R.E.

Our Mission & Vision is to inspire an engaged surfing and coastal community who are passionate about protecting oceans, waves and beaches.

Our seas are under threat – from pollution, overfishing and a lack of protection. We are taking too much out, for example fish and oil – often using intensive or destructive techniques. We are putting too much in – waste, pollution and damaging development. The Marine Conservation Society is the UK’s leading marine charity. We work to ensure our seas are healthy, pollution free and protected.

Stop taking too much out of our seas: MCS will work to ensure sustainable use of the seas by minimising harm when we harvest resources, for example through fishing and oil extraction.

Stop putting too much into our seas: MCS will work to prevent and clean up marine litter and pollution, and to minimise damage from development and climate change.
